The scientific team of the Department of Plant Physiology of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Charles University needed special lighting to research the effect of light on plants. At first, he turned to established companies that produce lights, but none of them met his exact requirement, even abroad.
A request was made for RED, GREEN, BLUE, Far RED, UV-A, UV-B lights. Each color should have a precise range of wavelengths, adjustable lighting intensity, independently adjustable switching time in real time. The light was supposed to be dispersed and intended for a humid environment. The light has a power of 600W. The light is entirely made of stainless steel sheet and blasted with ballotine.
